I’ve been focusing a lot on learning the 3D way of doing things. Since I got accepted at Centre NAD, I have decided to put my energy on learning rigging – basically making the skeletons that allow animation to take place. It’s a challenge but there’s a sense of satisfaction at the end for me. I told myself that I wouldn’t be able to get in the industry as a concept artist/illustrator just yet. I figured that my best approach would be to become a rigger in the short term and keep sharpening my painting skills in the long run to get where I want to be.
